“Monasteria and Lemon House” is a true dream of an Andalusian home that offers stunning views from the top of the village to the mountains and the sea. Our beautiful and historical house is located on a cobbled, free of car traffic street. Set right on the border of the Tejeda Natural Park at the highest and oldest part of Frigiliana.
This accomodation has genuine Andalusian character and typical for pueblo blanco architecture. Featuring a meter thick whitewashed walls, blue windows and tiled floors it is a real home with rustic charm throughout.
Our home consists of two separate buildings conjoined by a landscaped Mediterranean garden. The main house – “Monasteria” is an old monastery which offers one double bedroom and one single bedroom. On the other side of the garden, there is a twin bedroomed house called “Lemon House”.
Both houses are available to you as one accommodation and together they comfortably sleep 6 people.
MONASTERIA - the hub of the house
Monasteria’s double bedroom is quiet and cool with a large window onto the garden. Decorated in clean Andalusian style, it is furnished with a king-size bed and two chests of drawers. The window has shutters and mosquito nets installed. Right next to it is a single bedroom, bathroom, open plan kitchen and dining area with a lounge.
The kitchen is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. It stays refreshingly cool in summer days. The dining area located by an entrance door to the garden benefits from a gentle breeze. Dining here is always relaxing experience, even during the hottest summer days.
LEMON HOUSE - a separate casita for space and privacy
It is cosy and comfortable, within easy supervision distance from Monasteria. It has the garden, patio and terrace right outside of its door. “Lemon house” with a twin bedroom and spacious bathroom gives enough of independence to create a feel of a separate house.
“Lemon House” benefits from its own roof terrace with truly stunning views onto the sea and surrounding mountains. This little house is perfect for a couple of teenagers, grandparents or perhaps a nanny.
